Spread love, my love

Sometimes I wonder, if we are all similar to network of computers. If you could see the hidden map of being alive, it would look like a web. Bright little sparks where we are, and strands of connections holding us together. Each life is a spark, each soul a signal of love, kindness and attention, and while the current runs through us, we are alive to one another, present in the great circulation of being.

And yet there is one sacred difference. When the machine glitches, we may press a button and the light may return. When the human current ceases, no art of man can call it back. The body is stilled, and we name it death. That deceives us and we think, humans are extinguishable, but let’s not forget that the power that animates us is borrowed from a source too great to perish.

Man is a ceaseless creator of life. All his days he is recreating himself, weaving thought into character, pain into strength, solitude into tenderness. He is at once the web and the weaver. Each word spoken in honesty, each act done in kindness, adds another filament to the invisible net in which we are held.

And here, love enters- as the very current of this living system. men exchange being, like machines exchange data. It is love that renders the network warm with pulse and purpose. Love is the electricity of the great soul we all share, the quiet lightning that leaps from heart to heart, making us more than individuals, making us whole.

Love has this divinity, that it enlarges us by the very act of giving. To love another is to recognize yourself in them, and to offer yourself without loss. When a man gives himself in love, he is multiplied. One heart becomes two, and two become one.

It is love that makes death less fearsome. When one thread breaks, we think the network is broken. And, yet the affection we have given remains flowing in the circuit. Thus love is our immortality and the life we live in others, the gentle current that outlives the body.

It’s foolish to think the internet is new! it is, but it’s also just a pale imitation of that great original web of souls. The internet teaches us only what we have always known in our hearts: that we are not solitary. Every kindness ripples outwards, so does cruelty and we are fastened to one another by bonds deeper than sight.

To live is to tend the quality over quantity of our connections. Strengthening our circuit of love means acting with kindness, speaking with honesty and cherishing the being When we love, we renew the great net itself.

you become the part of the builders group of this great invisible network by just smiling back at that baby, its that simple. Our secret thoughts, our smallest kindnesses, are entered into this universal account and not lost! The network lives on love, so please spread love, my love.
